Wind Compass App Reviews

I use this all the time when traveling or planning to outside for any length of time. I love know the wind and does that and more. I would thing though. Have the map facing the way you are driving or walking. Very confusing at times having everything backwards

About 50% of the time when using Wind Compass it is wrong in wind speed but often has the direction the wind is coming from correct. I often have to resort to looking up a nearby airport and checking what the aviation weather is showing in my vicinity. As a long-time pilot and son of a WW2 Instructor Pilot, knowing wind speeds and directions was as normal for us as most folks just wanting to know what day it is. I suspect Wind Compass gets their data from the FAA weather reporting stations that advise pilots what the winds are doing, and thus there is a time-lag in Wind Compass getting the data available to people using this app. The other features this app has allowing you to set personal preferences make the app very useful to the "Average Joe/Jill"...

Pretty good app! Would be great if you could enter and save addresses, cities, or zip codes and get information on those areas as well.

What a piece of crap! The app says its 6mph when its really 25mph outside. I have no idea where they get their information, but its not on this planet.

Im impressed with this on my first experience with the app. Love the additional features and ease of navigation. If people are leaving negative reviews then they are simply too dependent on what app developers can come up with to solve problems they cant resolve by thinking for them selves. If you want a perfect wind reading then go to a sporting goods store and buy a wind meter. If you are needing something in a pinch like I did, then this app is perfect!

I have five apps that display wind speed and this is always the most accurate and up to date. Best wind app out there!

I loved your application before the recent change. All the information was on one page which was great. Now you have to click multiple times for the same info. Poor design. Im very disappointed.

I started flying drones last November and especially for the very lightweight drones weighing just a few ounces the wind speed is critical. Your app makes it a delight to check all conditions. Again today I see great improvements and I can feel the spirit of your team eager to make even more… I have downloaded and deleted many other so-called wind speed apps. Yours is the best by far and I will be looking to upgrade to the full no ads version. If wind and weather is part of your life you want to have this app! Im going to check to see if you have other apps because with a team like yours Im guessing theyre going to be great! Best of continued success.
